Peter Bove Ryan
Peter Ryan was born into a restaurant family in
1980. At 15 years old he began working in the industry and trained at some of
the country's most prestigious culinary address. After graduating from high
school Peter went directly into the kitchen of Austrian Master Chef Detlev
Martitsch Kreiner where he would train for two year. During that time he
distinguished himself as a valuable and passionate line cook. This experience would send him off to the arguably
the best culinary education in the world The Culinary Institute of America at
Hyde Park NY. Here he would be the recipient of the Presidents discretionary
scholarship and their Alumni scholarship while graduation in the top of his
class. During his internship from the CIA Peter traveled
to San Francisco to train with Bradley Ogden at the famous Larks Creek Inn. A
great relationship was formed and Peter would be a part of the opening of
Bradley Ogden’s new restaurant in Las Vegas. This restaurant would be cited as
James Beard’s top new restaurant of the year in 04.Directly after college he would return to South
Carolina and work under another of James Beard top chef of the South East Louis
Osteen, where he would stay until his journey took him to Las Vegas and his
return to Ogden’s. Once he left Las Vegas he returned to North Carolina to join
Restaurant Solutions in a part time role. During that period he was part of the
kitchen staff of the five star Farrington House in Chapel Hill. In August of 2005 Peter would joined Restaurant
Solutions full time, and in August of 2006 became our corporate opening Chef.
