Bovine’s
Murrells Inlet, SC

Prior to the opening of Bovine’s in 1999, Murrells Inlet was dominated exclusively by fried fish and seafood restaurants. When the owner, Jack Devine, approached Restaurant Solutions to create a new concept for the existing location, we felt it was time to step "out of the box" and create something fresh in this rather staid market area. From the beginning we were repeatedly warned that a Southwestern Steak House with wood fired grille would not be successful in this location. We persevered, and today, Bovine’s is one of the most successful restaurants in the area.

The contract was a "turn-key restaurant creation service" for the company. In addition to creating the concept and menu, we designed the kitchen, hired and trained the staff, instituted the operations and management systems and controls, orchestrated the opening and remained on-site to manage the restaurant for more than a year after its opening.
